Sopāka (1st)
“Yathāpi ekaputtasmiṁ,
Just as a mother would be good
piyasmiṁ kusalī siyā;
to her beloved only child;
Evaṁ sabbesu pāṇesu,
so, to creatures all and everywhere,
sabbattha kusalo siyā”ti.
