Uttiya (2nd)
“Vassati devo yathā sugītaṁ,
The sky-god rains like a sweet song.
Channā me kuṭikā sukhā nivātā;
My little hut is roofed and pleasant, <j>sheltered from the wind.
Tassaṁ viharāmi adutiyo,
I dwell there without a partner:
Atha ce patthayasi pavassa devā”ti.
so rain, sky-god, if you wish.
