Tatiyamoranivāpasutta At the Peacocksā€™ Feeding Ground (3rd)

ā€œTÄ«hi, bhikkhave, dhammehi samannāgato bhikkhu accantaniį¹­į¹­ho hoti accantayogakkhemÄ« accantabrahmacārÄ« accantapariyosāno seį¹­į¹­ho devamanussānaį¹. ā€œMendicants, a mendicant who has three qualities has reached the ultimate end, the ultimate sanctuary from the yoke, the ultimate spiritual life, the ultimate goal. They are the best among gods and humans.

Katamehi tīhi? What three?

Sammādiį¹­į¹­hiyā, sammāƱāį¹‡ena, sammāvimuttiyāā€”Right view, right knowledge, and right freedom.

Imehi kho, bhikkhave, tÄ«hi dhammehi samannāgato bhikkhu accantaniį¹­į¹­ho hoti accantayogakkhemÄ« accantabrahmacārÄ« accantapariyosāno seį¹­į¹­ho devamanussānanā€ti. A mendicant with these three qualities has reached the ultimate end, the ultimate sanctuary from the yoke, the ultimate spiritual life, the ultimate goal. They are the best among gods and humans.ā€

Tassuddānaį¹

Yodho parisamittaƱca,

uppādā kesakambalo;

Sampadā vuddhi tayo assā,

tayo moranivāpinoti.
