Nibbidābahulasutta Full of Disillusionment

ā€œSaddhāpabbajitassa, bhikkhave, kulaputtassa ayamanudhammo hotiā€”ā€œMendicants, when a gentleman has gone forth out of faith, this is whatā€™s in line with the teachings.

yaį¹ rÅ«pe nibbidābahulo vihareyya. Vedanāya ā€¦peā€¦ saƱƱāya ā€¦ saį¹…khāresu ā€¦ viƱƱāį¹‡e nibbidābahulo vihareyya. They should live full of disillusionment for form, feeling, perception, choices, and consciousness.

Yo rÅ«pe nibbidābahulo viharanto, vedanāya ā€¦ saƱƱāya ā€¦ saį¹…khāresu ā€¦ viƱƱāį¹‡e nibbidābahulo viharanto rÅ«paį¹ parijānāti, vedanaį¹ ā€¦ saƱƱaį¹ ā€¦ saį¹…khāre ā€¦ viƱƱāį¹‡aį¹ parijānāti; Living in this way, they completely understand form, feeling, perception, choices, and consciousness.

so rÅ«paį¹ parijānaį¹ vedanaį¹ parijānaį¹ saƱƱaį¹ parijānaį¹ saį¹…khāre parijānaį¹ viƱƱāį¹‡aį¹ parijānaį¹ parimuccati rÅ«pamhā, parimuccati vedanāya, parimuccati saƱƱāya, parimuccati saį¹…khārehi, parimuccati viƱƱāį¹‡amhā, parimuccati jātiyā jarāya maraį¹‡ena sokehi paridevehi dukkhehi domanassehi upāyāsehi; ā€˜parimuccati dukkhasmāā€™ti vadāmÄ«ā€ti. Completely understanding form, feeling, perception, choices, and consciousness, theyā€™re freed from these things. Theyā€™re freed from rebirth, old age, and death, from sorrow, lamentation, pain, sadness, and distress. Theyā€™re freed from suffering, I say.ā€
