“Mendicants, there are these four kinds of radiance.
Katamā catasso?
What four?
Candappabhā, sūriyappabhā, aggippabhā, paññāpabhā—
The radiance of the moon, sun, fire, and wisdom.
imā kho, bhikkhave, catasso pabhā.
These are the four kinds of radiance.
Etadaggaṁ, bhikkhave, imāsaṁ catunnaṁ pabhānaṁ yadidaṁ paññāpabhā”ti.
