Light

“Cattārome, bhikkhave, ālokā.
“Mendicants, there are these four lights.

Katame cattāro?
What four?

Candāloko, sūriyāloko, aggāloko, paññāloko—
The lights of the moon, sun, fire, and wisdom.

Ime kho, bhikkhave, cattāro ālokā.
These are the four lights.

Etadaggaṁ, bhikkhave, imesaṁ catunnaṁ ālokānaṁ yadidaṁ paññāloko”ti.
The best of these four lights is the light of wisdom.”

Tatiyaṁ.
