Atthāpatti acittako āpajjati, sacittako vuṭṭhāti.
There are offenses that are committed unconsciously, but that are cleared consciously.

Atthāpatti sacittako āpajjati, acittako vuṭṭhāti.
There are offenses that are committed consciously, but that are cleared unconsciously.

Paṭhamaṁ pārājikaṁ ekena samuṭṭhānena samuṭṭhāti.

Kāyato ca cittato ca samuṭṭhāti, na vācato.

Upakkamitvā asuciṁ mocentassa saṅghādiseso ekena samuṭṭhānena samuṭṭhāti—
