Ekaį¹ samayaį¹ ÄyasmÄ ca sÄriputto, ÄyasmÄ ca mahÄkoį¹į¹hiko bÄrÄį¹asiyaį¹ viharanti isipatane migadÄye. At one time Venerable SÄriputta and Venerable MahÄkoį¹į¹hita were staying near Varanasi, in the deer park at Isipatana.
Atha kho ÄyasmÄ sÄriputto sÄyanhasamayaį¹ paį¹isallÄnÄ vuį¹į¹hito yenÄyasmÄ mahÄkoį¹į¹hiko tenupasaį¹
kami; upasaį¹
kamitvÄ ÄyasmatÄ mahÄkoį¹į¹hikena saddhiį¹ sammodi. Then in the late afternoon, Venerable SÄriputta came out of retreat, went to Venerable MahÄkoį¹į¹hita, and they greeted each other.

Ko nu kho, Ävuso, hetu, ko paccayo, yenetaį¹ abyÄkataį¹ bhagavatÄāti? Whatās the cause, whatās the reason why this has not been declared by the Buddha?ā

khayavimuttassa, Ävuso sÄriputta, bhikkhuno vaį¹į¹aį¹ natthi paƱƱÄpanÄyÄāti. For one who is freed due to the ending of craving, there is no cycle of rebirths to be found.ā
